The following tests are currently being done in our cytogenetics lab

Bone marrow karyotyping

Metaphase spreads are prepared from bone marrow cultures of patients with diseases such as leukaemias and myelodysplasia. This test aids in the choice of treatment strategy as it helps in clarifying the diagnosis and indicates a prognosis.
