GEL Documentation

The gel documentation system can be used for fluorescence and chemiluminesence imaging with a real-time focus, 5fps. It has a high resolution 12 bit, 4 megapixel CCD chip camera, which is cooled to -28°C absolute. The integrated darkroom has both white light as well as UV transillumination and filters for ethidium bromide, SYBR Green, GFP, fluorescein, SYPRO™ Red, Carb Gel/Hoechst Blue are available. Images can be analyzed on the Image Quant software or Image Master Platinum for 2D gels.
