FISH (Fluorescence in situ hybridization)

Flouresence in situ hybridization(FISH) is a molecular cytogenetics test that helps in making a rapid diagnosis of diseases. It is also used to monitor therapy and assess chimerism after bone marrow transplant (sex-mismatched donor) and to follow up response to treatment.
